Introduction

Ranger’s are the primary bow user for Hibernia.  They are the only Hibernian class that is capable of specializing in Archery, the specialization which contains all of their different bow shots and self buffs.  Along with Archery, Ranger’s are also capable of specializing in Stealth and melee weapon lines such as Blades, Pierce and Celtic Dual.  Through use of the Stealth specialization a Ranger is able to advantageously position for the most effective attack.

The Ranger’s use is not however limited to the Player vs Player and Realm vs Realm portion of the game, however.  The bow does very effective damage in all kinds of Player vs Enemy encounters; including the highest damage possible against the epic dragon.

Within the Ranger’s Archery specialization line can be found a collection of self buffs, and a speed burst.  The speed burst can easily be used both defensively, for running to safety for example, or offensively, such as chasing down a fleeing target.

First things first however, when choosing to play a ranger there are many questions which you must ask yourself.  Which race should I play?  How should I spend my specialization points?  Is there a way to get the most out of my abilities?  And many will be wondering, how should I spend my specialization points while leveling?  I hope to answer all of these questions throughout the following pages.
